2024 Captain, Nathan Joyes - The Polars

2024 CAPTAIN ANNOUNCEMENT
Our final new new captain of 2024 is Nathan Joyes!

Mr. Joyes has played for the Bears for the past 3 years, so no surprise that he'll be repping the Polars this year.

Nathan has an extensive lacrosse resume including 3 SWOLL championships in 4 years. Nathan played his minor lax for the Guelph Regals. He has his fingerprints on a bunch of masters teams, pickup lax and volunteer work. Nate spent time with the KW Velocity, and is the second captain to currently play for the Wellington Aces.

Nathan has volunteered with the Centre Wellington minor lacrosse association for the past 13 years! Nate is also a big coach! coaching the CW District High School team. AND he brought lacrosse to the Chumash area, running a labour day tournament for over 5 years.

Essentially if there is lacrosse going on, Nathan Joyes is a big part of it.

The big question this year will be in which round Nate decides to draft his son who will be in the draft player pool!
