SWOLL 2022 - Week 8

Week 8. Rainy Spring Saturday lacrosse. Great to see a large turnout of fans this week.

In the first game, the Falcons and Bucks put on a preview of the Mega Bowl. It was another close back and forth battle with the Falcons edging out a slight lead in the third period and held off the strong Bucks offence. They buried a couple final goals in the third to finally push over double digits in 2022. 

In the late game, we got a preview of the Snell championship game and a battle for first place overall between the Bears and Wolves. After some early back and forth, and a strong performance in net by Markus Madill; the Wolves pulled away. Sean Campbell specifically had an exceptional game, scoring three goals. The Wolves take the season series and first place overall from the Bears.

Next week is the last regular season game, Saturday March 26th which will be the final tune up game before the Snell Championship on Saturday April 2nd.
