SWOLL 2022 - Week 9
That's a wrap on the regular season. A hard fought season by all teams but it all comes down to a final weekend of SWOLL April,2nd.
-
The early game was an outnumbered affair with the bears looking fresh from hibernation and the Bucks squad looking depleted after a fruitful hunting season. Bucks goalie Chrissy Mac stood on his head in the early periods and fought to keep the outnumbered Bucks in it- but the relentless speed and determination of the Bears quickly led to an offensive onslaught and the bears came away victorious. 14-4.
-
Similar to the early game the Falcons looked like they had clipped wings with a roster of 8 players and the wolves knew to hunt in packs showing up with a nice sized bench to prepare for nexts weeks feast in the finals. The Wolves blanked the falcons in the first period 6-0. The Falcons took flight in the second and closed the gap to within one goal 6-5 after two periods led by Captain Taylor Best's 2G's 2A's. Ultimately, the falcons didn't have the wings to keep up in the third period. Legend Richard Haan came up just short in joining the SWOLL century club and will look to add some points in the finals next weekend. Wolves took the game 12-7.

Saturday April 2! The final weekend of SWOLL for 2022.

The Mega Bowl features the last place Bucks taking on the third place Falcons- arguably the favorites heading into the season will have one final game. So far the Falcons have won the regular season series 3-0. A Frustrated Bucks Captain Andrew Coghlin, looks to right the ship in the final game of the year for the bucks in efforts to spark the roster in preparation for the 2023 Season. Both teams expect a full bench on Saturday and are ready to leave it on the floor for the Megabowl.
-
The Snell Cup is on the line in the late game next weekend. With the First place wolves led by Captain Scott Hummel, taking on the defending Championship Captain Steve Cooke and the Bears. The Wolves took the last meeting between the two teams and it's certainly made an interesting conversation and debate about for who will come out victorious and take the title as SWOLL Champions and the proud owners of the Snell Cup. Both teams have displayed exceptional fire power in the form of the Matthews Brothers Vs. the Campbell brothers. This is a match up you don't want to miss.
