  • Fantasy + Stats are updated. It will be updated faster in following weeks :)

The Early Game

The game started out back and forth while both teams shook off the rust and looked to find chemistry with their new rosters.

Momentum started shifting to the Hornets in the second period as chances and goals started to flow. Shawn Murray stood tall in the pipes for the buzz;

The Wolves found their stride in the third and chipped away at the swarm.

The Wolves scored the game tying goal with 50 seconds remaining!

The Hornets countered with a face off win, and a an outside shot from Kyle Rushton to take back the lead with just 17 seconds remaining.

----

10-9 Final and the ZRW Hornet's start the season 1-0 while the Mortgage Intelligence Wolves are down 0-1 to start the season again.

2019 MVP Lewis White continued his pace and leads the league in points after week 1.

Last year's leading scorer Richard Haan buried 3 but was robbed of one by the game sheet.

The Late Game

In the late game; Cog's Jukebox Bucks looked to start off strong after raising their 2019 championship banner.

The LaxCoachLocker Falcons have a new look, and are looking to improve on a disappointing 2019 campaign.

This game came out like a wrecking ball! Hits were flying like pints and hot slices from McMullin's (shout out to our sponsors :)

Bucks came out with some solid early chemistry, even without their flaky captain.... They lead most of the game with the Falcons chipping back until falling behind by two in the third period.

With 1:38 seconds left the Falcons score to draw within one! With just 17 seconds remaining; they tally again to ignite the bench and to send the game to a shootout!

In the shootout; Shane Haliwell, and Ethan Warden both score for the Falcons!

Falcon goalie Chris MacNamara stoned the Buck shooters to complete an epic comeback!

What a great opening night!

See you on Wednesday Night!

If you are early for game night, grab a drink or a bite at McMullan's! Or head over to the pub after the game.
