The aerial battle of the week, pitting the Cambridge Chief captains against eachother was an exciting one!

The Falcons came out strong! Outplaying the Hornets in the first period. The Falcons youthful legs allowed them to rack up the scoring chances throughout the first period. Hornet goaltender Karter Romaniuk mitigated the bleeding early with a flurry of big saves.

The Hornets found their rhythm slowly and began to chip away at the Falcon lead.

The third period was back and forth! Full of excitement and lead changes.

The game was tied in the final seconds and for yet another week, the Hornets score a goal in the final seconds to steal the game.

The Hornets have won both games by a last minute goal to lead the league with a 2-0 record.

The 2020 Falcons look strong but fall to 1-1.

Game #2 was a little less dramatic. Pitting the Wilmot Wild captains against eachother in the land matchup of rivalry week.

Buck captain and 2019 champ Andrew Coughlin returned to the team after missing week 1. Unfortunately the Buck herd was missing a few key players.

The Wolfpack smelled blood early and never looked back with a dominant performance, putting this one away early.

The Wolves took it upon themselves to pad the stats and jump to 1-1 to tie the Falcons for second.

The Bucks are off to a bad start, and will need to get back on track soon if they hope to repeat.
