Week 3 2020 Recap
Week 3 marked Coat Drive Week! Where we gathered lightly used jackets to donate to House of Friendship. We gathered a huge pile of jackets so thank you so much for your donations! SWOLL; helping the community :)
We are extending the coat drive to week 4! And if you have any winter boots; please bring those as well! Thanks!
GAME 1 - The Early Game
The Hornets came out early and often in the early game. Veteran Buck goaltender; Wayne Paddick let in a few softies but made up for it with some acrobatic robberies!
The Hornets continued to outpace the Bucks into the 3rd period. Resulting in a lopsided victory and they remain undefeated at 3-0
Game 2 - The Late Game
The Falcons, usually quick out of the gate came out sluggish. With a golden opportunity to pull ahead of the Wolves who were missing some key offensive pieces.
The Wolves had none of it, and pulled away from the Falcons and stamped themselves into 2nd place with a 2-1 record.
Next Week; the Wolves and Hornets will revisit their dramatic week 1 matchup in a fight for first place.
