Week 7 2020 Recap

-

Why is it revenge week you ask?
Week 1 had the Falcons steal a win from the Bucks in a shootout and the Hornets scored in the last 20 seconds to beat the Wolves. This week; a chance at revenge!

The Early Game

The Falcons and Bucks went to a shootout AGAIN!
The Bucks looked like the Wilmot Wild all-star team this week with a healthy lineup full of white Wilmot buckets.
The Falcons always bring strong numbers, with a full bench of black and red Cambridge Chiefs!
The Bucks pulled out an early lead as they have done all season with strong starts. However the birds battled back to tie the game up in the third.
It was a crazy back and forth game which required a shootout.
The Falcons took an early shootout lead and thought they had the win until the Bucks scored to take it to extra shooters where they capitalized and took the win home.
Revenge = Bucks

The Late Game

For the first time all year, the Hornets had a bit of a lighter swarm which seemed to even things out early.
Week 1 had a full healthy Wolf squad. This season has been plagued with Wolf injuries and it showed tonight.
The Wolves made it a tight game for most of the first two periods before the machine like efficiency of the Hornets, lead by last year's MVP Lewis White started to shine. The Hornets pulled away in the third to roll to another dominant victory.
The Hornets will focus on maintaining perfection while awaiting their Championship dance partner.
The Wolves are set to battle it out with the Falcons for the final Championship spot.
