Week 9 Recap

Was a big night last night in the SWOLL with seeding implications on the line. With the Cup now only days away there was a familiar buzz in the air last night.

 

In the early game the Blue Lizard Productions Wolves (5-4) controlled their own fate and needed a win to at least have a chance at making the finals. The much improved Jukebox Lacrosse Falcons (1-8) squad gave them everything they could but in the end the Wolves prevailed and for at least a little while had hopes of making the final game. Make your score in the this one 10-6.

 

In the late game, the Alpine Roof Services Bucks (6-3) needed a win to punch their ticket to the Snell Cup while the ZRW Restoration & Waterproofing Inc / Lacrosse Savage Bull Dogs (6-3) were trying to snap a 2 game losing streak and hold on to first place. The Bucks were flying on this night and took down the depleted lineup of the Dogs in a lopsided affair 17-9.

So what this means when it all shakes out is that the Bucks end up in first place and the Bull Dogs end up in second and both will play for the Brett Snell Cup this Sunday, March 3rd at 3:30pm. In the Megabowl, the Wolves and Falcons meet again to determine who will take 3rd spot.
